The faculty currently employs a total of 119 academic staff members, including 62 with academic degrees. Among them, 5 hold the title of Doctor of Sciences and Professor, constituting 49.6% of the faculty's academic potential.
At present, the faculty accommodates 1,322 students across 64 academic groups. All courses are conducted in modern classrooms and laboratory facilities.
In alignment with the five key initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at enhancing youth spirituality and effectively organizing their leisure time, the faculty has established 15 scientific and technical clubs, along with three creative-artistic groups under the name “Dinamit.”
The faculty boasts one recipient of the Beruni State Scholarship, two international competition winners, and four students who have secured victories in national competitions and academic olympiads.
Furthermore, faculty students and academic staff consistently participate in sports competitions organized by the institution, regularly achieving prize-winning positions.
The faculty is actively engaged in several significant projects:
A 500 million UZS project titled “Moderate Temperature Pressing and Extraction-Based Joint Production of Sunflower Oil and Protein” (Project No. AL-593201250).
An Erasmus+ ELBA project with a budget of 47,700 euros.
A medical nursing training project with a grant of 700 million UZS.
Additionally, the faculty has entered into various economic contracts.
The Department of Information and Communication Technologies has been provided with educational literature, including newly developed materials. Specifically, the department's academic staff has authored two textbooks and eight study guides this year.
These materials have been reproduced at the institution's expense and are available on the ARM (Automated Library System).
