Student Dormitory

  At Bukhara State Technical University, there are three student dormitories. Dormitory No. 1 accommodates 330 students, Dormitory No. 2 houses 260 students, and Dormitory No. 3 provides places for 750 students. In total, the dormitories can accommodate 1,340 students.

To enhance students’ spiritual development through fostering a culture of reading and study, modern information resource centers have been established in all educational buildings and student dormitories of the university.

The university also creates necessary conditions to increase young people’s interest in music, painting, literature, theater, and other arts, to develop their talents, promote physical fitness, and showcase their abilities in sports. Additionally, effective use of computer technologies and the internet is organized. To promote spirituality and widely encourage reading culture among students, various clubs operate based on the facilities of sports complexes, computer labs, IT technology centers, and information-library centers. These clubs focus on culture, arts, sports, information and communication technologies, and reading culture.

To help students organize their free time purposefully and meaningfully, and to foster their skills in planning and managing leisure activities, clubs such as “Recording Studio,” “Young Creators,” “Karaoke Hall,” and “Dance Club” have been established.

Furthermore, the Department of Physical Culture at the university has organized sports clubs including football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and chess and checkers.
