Rector of the University

Organizing the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the President, and decisions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of education and personnel training;
Ensuring the preparation of highly qualified specialists with high moral and ethical qualities, capable of independent thinking, and possessing skills to organize work in market conditions;
Organizing the training of highly qualified personnel based on state educational standards;
Ensuring the fulfillment of tasks defined in the Law "On Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the "National Program for Personnel Training" at the higher education institution;
Defining the powers of all structural units of the higher education institution, planning, coordinating, managing their activities, preparing suitable personnel for management positions at the institution, selecting staff, recommending candidates for leadership positions, and hiring;
Providing material and moral incentives for employees, ensuring social protection, and applying disciplinary measures;
Supervising the formation of revenues of higher education institutions and their effective use;
Organizing scientific research work, increasing their efficiency, and widely introducing the results of research into practice; ensuring integration between higher education, science, and production;
Organizing the creation, translation, and publication of textbooks and educational-methodical literature in accordance with the concept of creating a new generation of educational literature for the system of continuous education;
Introducing advanced teaching methods in the educational process, including distance learning, new pedagogical and information-communication technologies, and organizing their effective use;
Leading spiritual, educational, and upbringing activities, shaping the national idea among staff and students;
Managing admission of students, graduate students, and trainee researchers to the university, expulsion, reinstatement, and ensuring compliance with internal regulations;
Ensuring professional development of professors and teaching staff.
