Vice Rector for Academic Affairs

Organizing the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees and orders of the President, and decisions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of education and personnel training;
Organizing educational, scientific, financial, and spiritual-educational activities based on state educational standards and ensuring the preparation of qualified personnel;
Ensuring that all deans, department heads, and teaching staff fully understand the content of knowledge and requirements for the level of training according to state educational standards;
Organizing the implementation of orders, decrees, and instructions of relevant higher authorities, decisions of the university Scientific Council, and rector's orders regarding educational and training processes;
Studying the development trends of education systems in advanced countries, developing and ensuring the implementation of methods and tools to fulfill the tasks specified in the Law "On Education," the "National Program for Personnel Training," and other education-related laws;
Introducing advanced teaching methods in the educational process, including distance learning, new pedagogical and information-communication technologies, and organizing their effective use;
Preparing proposals related to the activity direction and organizing work accordingly;
Coordinating, organizing, and supervising the activities of departments and deans responsible for the educational process;
Approving work plans of departments, faculties, and chairs, and supervising their execution;
Improving the quality of ongoing classes, monitoring and ensuring the fulfillment of individual plans of professors and teachers;
Organizing educational and scientific conferences, leading the university methodological council and pedagogical skill enhancement activities, and summarizing advanced methodological experiences;
Overseeing the preparation and publication of educational-methodical and scientific materials, including journals and collections of scientific works by university staff, and managing the replenishment of the library fund with periodic educational-methodical and scientific publications in all educational and scientific activity areas;
Managing the search, selection, and work with talented youth, assisting them, and overseeing the preparation of winners of prestigious scholarships named after the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Navoi, Beruni, Ulugbek, Zulfiya, and others among students and trainee researchers;
Developing proposals for staffing professors, teachers, and staff assisting educational work, and organizing the provision of departments and divisions with qualified personnel;
Preparing proposals for recruitment based on competition for vacant positions, retaining trainee researchers and graduate students, and leading the development and implementation of plans to improve and upgrade the qualifications of teaching staff;
Developing measures to efficiently use classrooms and improving the technical equipment of auditoriums and laboratories;
Taking disciplinary measures against employees who violate executive discipline and preparing proposals for terminating their contracts;
Preparing proposals to improve the content of education and establish faculties and departments in cooperation with foreign higher education institutions of the same profile to ensure training of specialists according to international requirements;
Conducting annual reports, analyzing, and drawing conclusions about the activities of departments, faculties, and divisions; assessing the educational-methodical activities of professors and teachers using modern methods;
Maintaining ongoing cooperation with higher education institutions in educational-methodical fields, ensuring active participation of professors and teachers in conferences and seminars, and collaborating with local authorities;
Determining, analyzing, and carrying out work to improve the annual rating of the higher education institution in the established order;
Actively participating in the regular internal certification of Bukhara State Technical University, preparing for external certification, and conducting it.
